Founded in 1984 by Vernon Gomez and Daphne Gomez, Chempaka began as a vision rooted in care, values and a deep understanding of how young children learn and grow.
Through changing times, including the challenges of the pandemic, the Chempaka family stood strong—adapting with resilience and emerging even stronger, like a flourishing Chempaka tree.
Today, this journey has grown into a vibrant community of 13 kindergarten annexes and 4 well-established schools. In 2026, we proudly step forward to welcome our Foundation School programme with Grades 1 and 2, continuing our commitment to nurturing confident, happy learners every step of the way.
At Chempaka Kindergarten, true leadership begins with love. It is reflected in the care, warmth and purposeful guidance that shape every child's earliest and most important years. Our vision comes alive through a dedicated team that nurtures young minds, inspires curious hearts and gently walks beside every child with intention and joy.
At the heart of this journey are our senior leaders, Heads of Annexes and passionate early years facilitators — a committed team that works hand in hand across all 13 branches in Trivandrum, Kerala.
Together, they create environments that are safe, joyful and deeply enriching, ensuring every child feels valued, cared for and fully supported to discover, grow and flourish.
