Circle Time & Stories

Pre-Nursery
(2 - 3 Years)

Our Pre-Nursery Programme offers a gentle introduction to early learning, where young children engage in guided play, exploration and develop mentally appropriate experiences. Rooted in global early years practices, the programme focuses on supporting key developmental milestones across communication, motor skills, social interaction and emotional well-being.

In a warm, safe and responsive environment, each child is carefully observed and supported through structured observation checklists that help track individual growth and readiness.

This nurturing approach ensures that a child’s first school experience is positive, secure and meaningful, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Play Group

PLAY, EXPLORE & GROW

Play Group (3 - 4 Years)

In a warm and welcoming environment, children are gently introduced to routines, group experiences and guided interactions that build readiness for the next stage.

At this stage, emphasis is placed on developing readiness skills, including fine motor coordination for controlled movements, early mark-making (pre-writing readiness) and sensory exploration. Children are introduced to early language awareness through sounds, words and meaningful interactions, along with emerging number sense through patterns, sorting and simple connections.

Opportunities for self-exploration help children recognize their identity, express preferences. They also begin to develop habits, follow simple instructions and engage in cooperative play.

LEARN, CREATE & DISCOVER

LKG (4 – 5 years)

The Lower Kindergarten (LKG) Programme builds upon the foundation laid during the early years and introduces children to a more structured and engaging learning environment. At this stage, children begin to explore concepts through meaningful experiences that promote curiosity, confidence and a love for learning.

The curriculum focuses on strengthening early literacy and numeracy skills through interactive activities, storytelling, rhymes, phonetic awareness and guided conversations. Children are gradually introduced to letter recognition, sound associations and early writing readiness. In mathematics, they explore number concepts, patterns, sorting, comparison and simple problem-solving through hands-on activities.

The LKG programme nurtures holistic development and prepares children with the essential readiness skills required for a smooth and confident transition into the UKG stage and further primary learning.

READ, WRITE & THRIVE

UKG (5 - 6 years)

The Upper Kindergarten (UKG) Programme represents an important stage in a child’s early learning journey, where foundational skills are strengthened and children are gradually prepared for the transition to formal primary education. The programme encourages children to become confident learners while nurturing curiosity, creativity and independent thinking.

At this stage, the curriculum focuses on consolidating early literacy and numeracy skills. Children develop stronger language abilities through phonetic awareness, reading readiness, storytelling, conversations and guided writing activities. They learn to recognise and write letters and words, understand simple sentences, and express their thoughts with increasing clarity.

The programme also emphasises the development of fine and gross motor skills, creativity and self-expression through art, music, movement and play-based activities. Children are encouraged to participate in group work, collaborative tasks, and classroom discussions that strengthen communication, cooperation and social confidence.
